Description
If Pendyft specializes in striking and gripping attacks, then Pendyrave specializes in slashing and detaching attacks.
Pente identifies the structure and flow of the target, recognizes unnecessary distortions, and cuts them away with its blade.
The beauty of the cut surface suggests that Pente's ideal of "balance" is embodied in the blade.
According to one witness, the movements felt as fluid as water, and the brushstrokes resembled those of a painter.
